Wayland Picks: July’s Biggest Releases
There are some fantastic releases this July, with a choice from everything that could possibly go on the tabletop: from board games, miniature games, card games and more.

There are multiple factions within Infinity to suit your playstyle. Whether you want to harness fierce technology with PanOceania, ‘stick it to the man’ and think and fight for yourself with the Nomads, or aid in the fruition of humankind with the artificial intelligence hive-mind: Aleph.
Infinity has some fantastic miniature releases this month bringing four different products from four different factions - sure to give you the sci-fi adventure you hunger for.
The Lambda Engineers Battalion is the support team you need in the O-12. These engineers make it their business to fix all that others have destroyed: making them the perfect mobile support units for your army.
This team is composed of military surgeons with extensive medical training, which will allow them to work under harsh pressure constraints, and supply your team for the assistance they require.
Yáokòngs are semi-autonomous robotic units employed by the Yu Jing military as infantry support. With high-tech designs these bots can adapt to their surroundings and scenarios with speed, making them a valuable ally, and an even better model to add to your team.
Dronbots are incredibly versatile on the battlefield. If utilized correctly, these auxiliary robots can be optimized in a mixture of tasks for PanOceania to aid in your victory. Med-Techs are as they sound: medical support models with extensive knowledge of engineering and military electronics. These creatures are mentally fast, giving them instantaneous access to a diverse library of medical programs within the Combined Army.
Magic: The Gathering feels like it has been around for a long time - which it has! But the game is constantly changing to keep new players enrolled and veteran players engaged with fresh and exciting content.
Containing some of Magic’s most iconic past characters, accompanied by powerful new cards, the Core Set 2021 will have Magic: The Gathering fans excited beyond belief. Extend your deck with nostalgic cards from MTG’s past, and collect all of the new cards to pave the way into 2021's competitive Magic: The Gathering scene.
Magic: The Gathering Jumpstart is a perfect pick-up-and-play card game, ideal for any game night. Create combos and boosters with cats, rainbows and unicorns alike. You can battle it out head-to-head in this multiplayer card game unlike anything else from Wizards of the Coast.
Collect æmber and open up those vaults! Because Keyforge is returning with brand new cards, meaning thousands of more card combinations as the role of an Archon.
Keyforge is a unique turn-taking card game with a high replayability factor. There is no need to collect, swap and trade, as this game promotes versatility with limitless card combinations. Keyforge is now on its fourth season, with the release of Keyforge Mass Mutation.
Mass Mutation is the newest set of Archon Decks for KeyForge, welcoming brand new effects of mutation within the deck. Æmber hasn’t been left unaffected - dark æmber is ready to make an appearance to the Crucible, along with 250 brand new cards to add to your readily existing deck: creating unlimited, unique possibilities.
Don’t forget, Keyforge is backwards compatible and even encouraged. You can mash together older season decks with Mass Mutation to create countless decks, and extend the player count to up to 4 players!
Malifaux have three different miniature sets available at the end of July. You can embark on a Wyrd and wonderful battle with creatures that go bump in the night rich in story, lore and excitement.
The Lynch Core Box is the newest edition to the Ten Thunders faction; containing brains, brawn and brute force all in one box. Just what's needed to battle it out in the world of Malifaux..
Inside the box, you will get six miniatures: Jacob Lynch: a high-stakes gambler with a keen eye to anticipate, Kitty Dumont: a spectral apparition with the ability to move through other models, Hungering Darkness: a morbid creature with insidious influence on others and (3) Illuminated: three powerful minions with the ability to eat opponents AP. All of which, powerful individually and collectively deadly.
New to Malifaux and not sure where to start? Core Boxes are a fantastic way to gain plenty of miniatures without having to buy them separately - a great way to buy a team without spending a fortune on several different faction boxes.
There are two new expansions to the Neverborn Faction this month with Lyssa and Juvenile Delinquents.
The Lyssa Expansion Box contains three different models of Lyssa, each individually terrifying. Lyssa’s character’s corporeal abilities allow it to ignore hazardous terrain and use this to their advantage, by moving through other models.
The Juvenile Delinquents Expansion Box contains Iggy and (3) Aversions. Iggy is an orphan with pyrokinetic powers, allowing you to take full advantage of his fire-fueled abilities. The Aversions are minions which can aid in Iggy’s benefit, causing havoc and destruction wherever they go.
If you are looking to hire into your crew, these two expansion boxes will be an awesome addition to the Pandora Core Box. As well, Lyssa an incredible support character for Iggy, side-by-side with his Aversions.
