Batman Miniatures Game – New Resins!
With the upcoming release of the 2nd edition of the Batman Miniatures Game, I have managed to get hold of the new coloured resin models from Knight Models.
One of the first points I have noticed is that the new models required almost no clean-up; with really smooth areas and very clear details, especially on the vines around Poison Ivy’s lower body and legs.
True Identity: Bruce Wayne
Mission: To bring justice to the criminals that haunt the streets of Gotham City
Batman has been cast in a classic pose - showing off his imposing figure - with his flowing cape blowing to one side. Holding a Batarang in his left hand and clenching his right fist, Batman is always prepared for a fight and to send the criminals of Gotham City back to the dark depths of Arkam Asylum.
Cast in blue resin, Batman will now match the finest law enforcement officers around, the GCPD.
True Identity: UNKNOWN
Mission: Kill Batman, cause havoc, threaten, steal and murder the people of Gotham City.
The Joker has been cast in a purple resin so that he and his other faction models can be easily identified. The model portrays the Jokers psychotic and dangerous nature, with a clear smile on his face and a very open pose.
Name: Harley Quinn
True Identity: Dr. Harleen Quinzel
Mission: To follow her psychopathic partner, Kill Steal and cause terror.
The character of Harley Quinn is of a broken and mentally tortured woman; driven to madness by her love for the joker. This insanity clearly visible on the face of the miniature as she shares the same disturbing smile as her lover. Cast in pink resin she matches the rest of faction but does not look out of place standing next to the Joker.
Name: Poison Ivy
True Identity: Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley
Mission: Protect Mother Nature, destroy mankind.
Poison Ivy has been cast with green resin and has been laced with clear details across her body; from vines climbing the lengths of her legs, to the smooth moulding of her face and shirt.
As Knight Models continue to add more models into their new coloured resin, I have seen that the quality and details of their models has increased, and will only get better, as more characters are released.
Stay tuned for the next issue!
